On assignment for a class he was taking at the Columbia School of Journalism, Dana took the following photos:
Jean-Renee Dufort, a political satirist from Montreal, Canada, interviews people in Times Square for his show "Infoman." Asked whether the hat is intended to mock the news, or mock the people who mock the news, he said "both."
Lisa Hsieh, a social media influencer from Taiwan, who is visiting the US. She said she supports Trump, but added there was too much of a language barrier to learn more.
Phillip Payette, of Quebec, Thierry Pelletier, of Quebec, Marcelo Torchio, a dual American-Argentinian Citizen. The three men met minutes earlier in Times Square.
Payette supports Harris. "Trump is a clown," he said.
Pelletier disagreed. "If I could vote, I would vote for Trump," Pelletier said.
Torchio supports Trump as well, and drew a connection between Trump and Argentina's president, Javier Milei. "It's important for America to be together north and south" he said. "Last four years nothing worked."
"I sucked my thumb all the way until I was eleven," Mayor Eric Adams said, posing for a photograph sucking his thumb alongside a boy and his father after voting at P.S. 081.
