Nana Biography

It’s funny how you feel about your children. I don’t miss them at all. I don’t, from the very beginning when we, you know, they were out of the house fairly young, it was fun to see them. But when they come back, I don’t crave to have them around very long. And maybe that’s the healthiest way. I hear some people say, “oh I can’t wait to have some grandchildren and have them all around me, and all this. “Well I’m not that way, and whether it’s wrong or right, I don’t know. I don’t want my grandchildren around all the time, I like to see the children, but I guess I’m an independent kind. I’m a little bit. Glad I am. I’m glad I’m not dependent on them, now maybe I will be someday. Maybe that will – but I know they’re there anyway. They’re nice to me. They’re nice to their mother and that’s great. Everybody is.
