Did you like Stanford?
Oh, I loved it. I like being pushed better than leading, although I think I gave the impression of being a leader. I’d much rather follow directions. And so that’s why it’s nice to have John. I can come to him with all the tough problems in the business, like if somebody hasn’t paid a bill or if there’s a problem , we need a tough letter written, I come and say, “look, John, how would you express this? “, And he’s just involved in it as I am. But there’s one thing I do better than him. I think I meet the people and sell things better than he does, and so we sort of share.
So you each have your strengths.
Yes, that’s right.
Are you proud of yourself, I mean, that must be a nice feeling.
Yes, terribly terribly, because, I didn’t realize it, but you know, here I was there’s a book out recently on Prince and the print market, and my name is in it as one of the reputable print dealers in America. And I never said anything about it, but it’s, I’m known now. And my name and address and I’ve gotten a lot of business from it.
