Sounds like there’s a little network of people, too. I mean, these friends of yours that are friends with Dan. And friends with his sister. There was a little network of people. 

Yes.

And you’re not free of that network, it’s what you’re saying.

Oh no, no, and I don’t want to be, necessarily. I like many of them. He had two cousins that I liked. Dorothy O’Donnell was involved with Don, Dorothy is my other friend that I like so so much. Oh, I have, you know, I consider you as a friend, even though I don’t see you, you know I like you. But I do. I think you’re a nice warm girl. And there are too many on campus in the law school that I’ve been very close to. The men see each other all the time, but the women really don’t. I was just trying to think. Sheila, of course, I just adore.

Isn’t she wonderful.

She’s a great lady. And one time about three years ago, I said, “I’m going down to Los Angeles for an auction, and I’m spending one night down there. Would you like to drive down with me?”  She said, “I would love it. “  this was before Carl was quite so sick. And so we really had a time to talk, and it really wasn’t very interesting for her, but she said it was. 

I’m sure it was a change for her.
