Is that scheduled for any definite time?
No. But sooner than he thought, I think they’re going to get out of India, Pakistan, or whatever they are pretty soon they’re coming to France.
What did they do for money?
Oh, he’s made a pile. He worked for Hewlett-Packard, and instead of buying things, he lived very frugally, saved his money, made a big salary. You know he was head of the company over there in France for two years. He salted away– he bought stock, all he could buy that, he bought a house in Palo Alto, which is rented, he bought a lot of art which he’s just about doubled his money on. I sold it all, but one picture. Anyway, it’s almost all gone. He has a house to come back to, and then he has this fund that he built up with Hewlett Packard, and he has an ice cream store.
Oh, he still owns that.
Yes. And that’s paying now. He got his money back in two years, which is very fast. And I guess they’re living on very little, I don’t know if she pays her own way or not, but I imagine he pays for both of it. So when the money gets really low, they’ll have to stop. He’s already told us, he’s got offers for several jobs. He’s a very employable person.
Will he stay in France? Do you think?
Maybe. I don’t think they live there. I prefer them to keep their relationship because it’s nice. He’s a very complicated guy, he really is. And Leonard realizes it, and Bruce realizes it, we all do. All, very, very happy about the way he’s working out.
