While driving with them in the car, I remembered going around, it was West Virginia we had to go through and it was a very curvy road, and all of a sudden, for the first time in my pregnancy, I got terribly nauseated and had to stop the car and get out and throw up on the side of the road. My little brother tried to be so helpful, but he was just disgusted with the whole thing, he didn’t realize his big sister was going to have a baby. I felt just horrible.
Anyway, we made it back to Washington, and he stayed with us three or four days, and we showed him the city and all that, and then we sent him back on the train. And that was kind of a nice experience.
The time that I really remember was at our wedding, the time that I realized that he, he liked me, and, and it was really one of the sad times. We were married, and we had the reception at our house, and I had a big wedding, eight bridesmaids, and eight ushers, And not a very big house, it was a modest house, but my mother decided it would be nicer to have the reception at home rather than at the country club, and so we did, and she had friends come in, and they all helped to set up, and when I went up to dress, to change, my brother was in my room, crying, and it really bothered me. I think he missed me more than anybody.
