Street Art  - Chile

Graffiti and street art has a long tradition in Santiago, where it was widely used in the 1970s to protest against the military rule of Gen Augusto Pinochet and to foment radical social change. Ever since, all kinds of graffiti - urban, feminist, political and social - have flourished here.  All the images below are from Santiago.  Note that the image on the bottom of this page is actually a carousel of images - scroll through them by clicking on the arrows on the left and right sides of the picture.
