Volcano Chachani: 19,931 feet. The highest mountain I have ever climbed (Mt. Kilimanjaro is 19,341 ft).

Our tour took us first by Jeep to the base of the volcano, from where we hiked to our camp. There were strange green azorella plants along the way.

We descended down a steep sandy slope.
