Volcanoes: Laguna Quilotoa

Quilotoa is a water-filled crater lake formed by the collapse of the volcanmo about 800 years ago. I followed the path along the crater rim, a pretty hairy trail (you can see it on the photo above)...
... stopping briefly for a cold drink from these good fellows ...
... then descending the crater rim ...
... across some steep slopes ...
... to a perfectly lovely hostel, complete with good food, showers, and best of all ...
... a dog and llama show! These two best buddies played like this for hours.
The next day I completed the Quilotoa Loop, celebrating with my first ever guinea pig meal.
