We asked ChatGPT to layout a schedule for us, which we followed for a while: Michael Collins’s house in Clonakilty, the failed attempt to finding the Templebryan Stone Circle, followed by the disappointing discovery of a Ringfort (we had to break through the locked gate, and then we’re unable to get beyond construction area to the actual Ringfort.)

We had vowed never to drive in the dark again, but broke this vow almost immediately. I can’t believe that I was never warned by any of the guides or information I read about Scotland and Ireland, how narrow and difficult the roads were for driving. If I had known about these roads beforehand, I might not have decided to come to these countries at all.
