Scotland: Dunrobin Castle

Continuing north along the western edge of Cromarty Firth:
I reached Dunrobin Castle. Impressive looking, and not too crowded - perhaps because I didn’t get there until about 4:30 in the afternoon:
Although I'm certainly not a fan of killing stags, I am heartened to learn that the fresh venison was eaten, much was salted, smoked, or dried, and venison stews were common. So the stag heads on the walls of Dunrobin Castle didn's make me feel that bad:
I took photos of some of the interior rooms, but again, I really didn’t feel interested in the collection of place settings, medals, portraits, and all the rest of the stuff that comes with a castle tour.
