I spent the afternoon hiking in Holyrood Park, in Edinburgh. Arthur's Seat, an extinct volcano, and the highest point in Edinburgh, is visible in this photo (I did not hike to the top.) No one really knows why it is called Arthur's Seat.
The ruins of 15th century St. Anthony's Chapel are near the base of Arthur's Seat:
Visible from Holyrood Park, at the end of the Royal Mile is The Palace of Holyroodhouse, the official residence of the British monarch in Scotland.
