Scotland: Knockan Crag National Nature Reserve

The discovery and analysis of the thrust fault in Knockan Crag is famous for understanding plate tectonics.  For me, Knockan Crag will be known as a tough morning hike, cold at first, on a steep trail, with silly comments carved into the rocks. Good exercise though.
