1973: Egypt

While working at H.P. Grenoble, I took advantage of the generous vacation allowance afforded French workers to visit Egypt.  I flew to Cairo, visited its mosques, the Egyptian Museum, and of course the pyramids, them took a night train to Luxor to see it and neighboring Karnak.  A short stay in a fascinating country.  I wish I had stayed longer, and traveled beyond Luxor.
