Autohelm Calibration

AUTOHELM CALIBRATION

1. Turn Pilot DC button ON.

2. Push STANDBY on Autohelm control panel.

3. Push and hold down 2 seconds, Track and Display together.

4. Repeat Push and hold down 2 seconds, Track and Display together.

5. Use Display to scroll through the menu.  Use the Response buttons fpr setting parameter values.

6. Set the following parameter faluse:

a. Rudder gain. 5

b. Rate gain 2

c. Rudder limit 25 (VERY IMPORTANT!)

d. Turn limit 20

e. Cruise speed 7

f.  Off course 20

g. Automatic trim 1

h. Manual type 0

i.  Drive 3

j.  Damping 5

7. Push and hold down for 2 seconds, Track and Display together.
