After a relaxing stay in Hawaii, , the kids and I flew back to California, while Caren assembled a crew for the sail home.

Journey's end: crossing under the Golden Gate bridge, August 4, 2004. The passage took about a month, for a total voyage length of 5 years, 2 months, 21 days .
Notice something curious about her? No mainmast! She was dismasted a few days out from San Francisco (nobody was hurt, thank goodness, and the crew was able to cut away her mainmast before it caused any damage to her hull).
Safely docked in the Alameda shipyards, where she began her voyage more than five years ago.
