Left Sangalle at 5 AM for a 3 hour hike up to Cabanaconde, with plenty of time to catch the bus to Puno.

Photos from the bus window as we went from Cabanaconde to Puno. At the highest point my altimeter registered 15,967 feet.
We arrived in Puno after a 12 hour bus ride, and were greeted by yet another parade, the participants suitably decked out.
