2019: El Salvador

Feb 2, 2019.  Hostal Casa Verde ($25), Santa Ana, El Salvador.

• Big screw up today.  Took the wrong “road” to the start of the hike up Volcan Santa Ana, getting the car stuck and needing help from a local.  Finally arrived at “El Tibet” too late to begin.  Nonetheless had a nice walk in the area with a guide and then back to town in the afternoon for my first pizza ($3.50 - pretty good too).  Then a really good steak in mushroom sauce at Lover’s Steak House - $20, and worth it.  

• Plan: Feb 3: Aguilares > Cihuatán > San Andres Ruins > Museo Joya De Ceren > Parque Nacional El Boquerón > Santa Tecla (Paseo El Carmen).  Feb 4: El Tunco (waterfall hike?) Feb 5: drive to airport.
