After the rigors of Ladakh, we rested up on a houseboat in Kashmir, on Dal Lake.

... then on to the Kailasa Temple, Ellora. There are over 100 rock-cut Hindu, Buddhist and Jain caves at the site, 600–1000 AD, of which the Kailasa Temple is the largest.
