Sep 20, 2016. Marriott Hotel, Cusco, Peru.
Breakfast with the gang, then off to the San Pedro Market, which turned out to be wonderful. Everybody had juices, then went wild shopping, the prices were so low. I bought two pair of gloves, two pair of socks, two caps, and a sweater for Caren (at least I think that's everything), all for about $25. Che continued her marathon shopping spree with many more purchases, and even Len got in on the fun - in particular, cashews and peanuts. Everybody loved Sam for finding the market.
Then Sam doubled down with a great restaurant find for lunch. Good old Lonely Planet. I spent the afternoon at the Museo de Arte Precolombino, where I took a picture of virtually every exhibit - very high quality stuff. The museum displays stuff on loan from the Museo Larco in Lima, so no wonder it is so good.
Another big meal with all at a restaurant that Bruce & Che had found and reserved - very good indeed. And bed again at an early hour.
