2017 Utah Road Trip

March 15 - April 5, 2017

In the Spring of 2017 I left home in Los Altos Hills for a three week whirlwind tour of Utah (catching bits of Arizona and Nevada as well). With Hiking Grand Staircase-Escalante & the Glen Canyon Region as my principle guide, backed up the Lonely Planet Southwest USA Travel Guide, the maps.me app and Booking.com on my iPhone, I was set.

I was once more blown away by Utah. I had already seen and hiked quite a bit of it during my three month 2010 Western Road Trip, but it was fun to return after seven years, revisiting some places and seeing new ones. This trip confirmed for me once again that Utah is my favorite state.
