Lots of walking. First the Museo Ixchel: really good collection of tapestries.
Then, next door, the Museo Popol Vuh: some nice heads of man & beast, and enormous funerary urns.
Next, taxi to the enormous Parque Central and adjacent Mercado Central.
And finally, a really long walk to the Mapa en Relieve, an enormous relief map of Guatemala, with exaggerated mountains, and including present day Belize within.
Taxi back to the hotel. Big news on the TV: the government is trying to stop CICIG from investigating President Jimmy Morales on corruption. Here’s hoping it doesn’t succeed.
