Chester for dinner & stay at Seneca Motel (everyplace else is booked for a big weekend). Good food at Kopper Kettle. Bought Swiss Miss & Breakfast Essentials, and some canned fish. Still hot.
And I've reached the halfway point!

Big breakfast at Kopper Kettle, then off into the heat. Lots of hikers heading north (~ 25 a day, 1/3 women). All the men have beards. Half way passed a couple of days ago. I’ve yet to meet another going south. Taking lots of pictures of other hikers.
