Sep. 2, 2016.  Betania Hotel, Zamora, Ecuador 

• Took a 4:30 AM bus to Cabañas Yanquam - 4 hours along the Rio Nangaritza - hoping something or somebody will be there (going on a vague mention in LP).  Lucked out!  One guy was there: prepared me a nice breakfast, then took me for a terrific two hour river run, past waterfalls, through gorges, even a stop for some ammonite viewing.  $50 (most expensive thingy so far), but well worth it.  So many photos & videos!

• Four hours by bus back to Zamora, and caught a 5 PM bus to Loja.  It is now 8:10, and the bus is stuck a few miles outside Zamora, because of either a landslide or an accident, nobody knows for sure - and nobody knows if/when we'll get moving again...

• OK, 4 hours waiting in the bus is enough.  Got out and walked back to the Betania Hotel.  In bed by 9 - and WiFi uploaded the 400+ photos I'd taken these past few days.  Good old Google Photos!
