2017 - 2018:  Punta Mita Mexico to Quetzaltenango Guatemala

• Very quiet day.  Visited the Museo de la Cultura Maya, with some nice scale models of sites in Mexico and Guatemala.  Otherwise, read more of my great biography on Hamilton (what a different impression from the one described in the Jefferson bio), checked out Guatemala and Belize in the guidebooks, and made reservations for Mahahual and Xcalak: most expensive yet ($50 -$80).  The snorkeling and scuba diving better be good!

• Thank goodness for the seafood restaurant (Marisquería Mi Viejo), with its camaron cocktails, soups, and ceviche.
