A day later, Daniel and Naty took me to the charming House of Pichi and Dori, in Villa de Leyva.
What a beautiful town!
We could walk into town with the neighbors and their dogs.
And when we got there, we were able to enjoy a beer, all of us.
We ran into a guy who looked as tough as his dog. It turns out it was Pichi, with a dog he wants to adopt (Dori says no)
We visited Raquira to see the pottery.
These were my favorites.
We also took a long and beautiful trip to the famous Playa de Blanca del Lago de Tota, where I photographed this young beauty dressed to kill.
We visited Tunja, and I discovered where Bruce and Che met for the first time (correct me if I'm wrong).
But my favorite activity was visiting the Santa Teresa de Ávila Foundation, where Dori volunteers twice a week. Singing, playing the guitar, holding hands with older people, some of whom have families in the area who never visit them (!).
