Hello Bruce, Che, Lisa, Ted, Pichi, Dori, Sari, Cheimi, Toti, Angie, Maggie, Naty and Daniel: (Did I leave someone out?) I am writing to inform you that my family and I are safe: Caren  in our boat in Panama, Rachael and Dana in their homes in California, and I in my condo in Mexico.  And I hope you are also safe well.  I want to thank you all again for being such generous hosts and charming friends during my nearly three months in Colombia, which is now my absolute favorite country in all of the Americas (including mine!).  Perhaps you would like to know how I spent those three months?  Here is a description of my travels, in a series of 44 emails I sent to the above.
